2019 - ROAR
This year's youth program (ROAR) was based on an African Safari adventure where students learned that "God is good" and will stay with them forever. All 47 who participated (ages 4 – 80 something) in some capacity and were touched by this ministry declared VBS 2019 a roaring success!
It was headed up by Keenen Broome and Anne Hartley and their leadership team: Mary Gugler, Debbie and Bob Dowling, Ken and Jan Thrasher, Dorinda Paxton, and Annette Jones. They were supported by helpers: Patricia Conner, Peggy Donochod, Xan Broome, Jordan Penley, Izzy Broome, Bev Hill, Tony and Cindy Lamm, Kate Morreen, Lizzy Nash, Denise Painter, Kaye Powell, Linda Shelton, and Nancy West. Many thanks to all who made it happen and those who attended!
The daily bible points of the program were memorable and resonated with all ages. These messages quickly became ingrained:
• When life is unfair, God is good!
• When life is scary, God is good!
• When life changes, God is good!
• When life is sad, God is good!
• When life is good, God is good!

The adult program was based on the book, "Holy Roar", which taught new ways to worship.
All ages shared time together as well as apart for the different programs.
