Vacation Bible School (VBS) was a huge success today. If you missed it, you missed a treat. I'm not sure three goats and a baby turkey have ever been invited inside PUMC VBS before. It took the kids awhile to calm down when they entered. Pictures will be shown at the worship service in the morning, be sure to come. A special thank you Donna Zubrod and Tammy Watson for your leadership and the many hours of hard work for months to make this a wonderful memory these children will remember all their lives. I (Linda Elms) personally had one of the children age 6 come to me and tell me "I love Jesus, believe in him and had the best time at Bible School". He then hugged my neck, and it made the entire day even more special. Also a huge thank you to all the volunteers for teaching, crafting, preparing foods, serving, cleanup. When you go to Lickety Split LKG in Bracey, VA please thank (Karen Callahan) for supporting our VBS today with live animals.
