United Women in Faith

We have active United Women in Faith (UWF) and United Methodist Men (UMM) units that welcome your participation. Both meet monthly and are involved in activities throughout the month and support local charities.

The UMM and UWF also coordinate and support each other. Both are wonderful small group opportunities to build meaningful relationships in Christian love and commitment.

United Women in Faith seeks to connect and nurture women through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship, and education so that they can inspire, influence, and impact local and global communities. We believe love in action can change the world. Throughout the year the UWF coordinates several church-wide initiatives.  They will be announced as they occur.

More About UWF at Prospect and Beyond

At Prospect, the meeting schedule is every other odd month, typically on the 4th Monday from 10 am - 12 noon. Please contact Debbie Dowling, President, to confirm upcoming meetings and program themes. In addition to the meeting, the UWF enjoys, visits shut-ins, meets for lunch, hosts an ice cream social in the summer, and sponsors the Mothers' Day and Fathers' Day song service tribute as their major fundraiser. They also have beautiful note cards with a picture of the church as an additional fundraiser. We are proud of our award-winning UWF unit at Prospect and would like to see it expand. Please join us!

  • UWF Global Missions in 43+countries and 40 US states
