In Fall 2021, member Pam Pickard introduced Heifer International to Prospect as a beginning. The mission is to end hunger and poverty in a sustainable way by supporting and investing alongside local farmers and their communities.

To contribute, look for the "Feed Me" cow display. The initial donation will be sent at the end of the month and then periodically thereafter. This mission is near and dear to Pam as it is something she was introduced to it by her father some 40 years ago and then again years later when her daughter who was in the Peace Corp in South Africa experienced the benefits to the community.
